There’s no right or wrong, just opinion

Let’s just clarify the obvious, there are some things that are objectively wrong. We’d all agree that hurting people and stealing from people is wrong. The point I’m getting at is that there is no single way to live your life correctly.

Whether you’re a brain surgeon, office worker or school cleaner, have kids or don’t have kids, play sports, read books or watch tv, nobody gets to label you right or wrong. People might feel the need to tell you but that’s just their opinion, they don’t have the power to decide what is right or wrong for you. Do whatever you want if it makes you happy (and is legal).

One person’s opinion isn’t necessarily the world’s opinion

Many people, including me, are scared of putting things out there in case we get made fun of. As I have become older, I’m less and less concerned with individual opinions. I’ll do what I want to do and people can have whatever opinions they want. If the aim of this blog was to make money and one person hated it, it could still make money if enough people liked it. Fact of the matter is that there are only three opinions that matter to me, my wife & kids’.
